Kelly Kulick and Dominic Barrett WBW bowlers of the year
Barrett claims the title for the third time in three years
Kulick dominates ladies bowling and claims PBA TOC
Between August 2009 and July 2010, Kelly Kulick had the most successful 12 months in women’s bowling history. Not only did she win the Tournament of Champions for a PBA Tour major championship (and a two-year exemption to continue bowling on the Lumber Liquidators PBA Tour through the 2011-12 season), but she also won all three women’s major titles contested: the PBA Women’s World Championship, USBC Queens and U.S. Women’s Open. On the international scene, she convincingly won the 2010 Malaysian Open in Kula Lumpur.
Picking up the men’s WBW Bowler of the Year award for the third successive year is certainly no mean feat and Dominic Barrett sets this record by topping the 2010 European Bowling Tour rankings with three EBT titles and twelve finishes in the top five places. He caps that with the bronze medal in the 2010 WTBA Men’s World Championships singles in Munich.
